Transport Request From R/3 4.7 to 6.0

Hi Guys,

We are having some r/3 4.7E requests and now want to transport these request on to newly installed ECC 6.0 R/3 System.

Can it be possible to transport these request 4.7 to 6.0????

If yes then how it can be done???

Hi,

U cannt move transport request from 4.7 to ecc6.0..As there will be inconsistencies.

Hi,

Mainly SAP itself doesnot follow this stratergy...Consistency such as table struture, program,support packages..etc would come once u apply import request

I didnt done before, coz i never come across this scenerio, coz in a SAP landscape is configured in such a way that they have same release of SAP, Support package level etc on DEV,QAS and PRD.So there is no meaning of importing a transport request into a different SAP release
