where to check SAP version in server

Hi,

I am new to SAP and I would like to know how can I check my SAP version in development server whether it is R/3, mySAP or Netweaver 2004s, SP stack 8 and my Enterprise portal version.

I know that it is 4.7, is it R/3?

Does it mean that if my company have installed EP and BW, SAP system will become Netweaver?

best regards,

ying

if its 4.7 then its an Enterprise version and R/3. also i think the Java stack is not available in 4.7 versions.. so once a Java stack is instaled as an Add on installation EP and so on can be installed on ur systems. u can check the version of ur SAP in the menu bar only. look out for System--> status and it shd give all details.
