Hi, I got the following error when I try to install NW developer workspace.

ERROR 2007-01-08 02:52:44
CJS-30153 Java process server0 of instance J2E/JC00 reached state UNKNOWN after having state STARTING_APPS. Giving up.
Do I need to do any preconfiguration?

I am having the same problem in AIX5.3 and oracle. indeed I installed SRM and the same error occured.

You can check the status of the J2EE engine with jcmon:
jcmon pf=/<path to profile>/<instance profile>
Use a cmd window or a terminal.
Choose 20 and check the status of the different processes in the top. It takes a while to start the applications exspecially for the first time.

Are you trying to connect external J2EE engine?, If please check server is running or not.
