Hi,

I am trying to create a simple f2f scenairo and when I tested the configuration xi throws this message as :

Test the mapping independently as mentioned in this blog-

Well, Thank you guys for particpating in this thread to all. I overcame this issue by removing the file content conversion in the adapter settings but I would really appreciate anyone who can find the solution for the File content conversion, because that is the one which is kicking me out saying an exception has occured, other than that I have no problem.

Your MM does not produce required element MaterialNumber. Make that element optional (in the datatype) or change the mapping logic.

You can copy the source XML from SXMB_MONI and test it directly at IB.

It says there is a problem in your mapping only. If you have used any user defined funcitons in the mapping please check whether it is working fine or not. Also please see your mapping.

Test the payload of the file in the Configuration, go to Tools-->Test Configuration, the explanation of the problem used to be longer, it can give you more clues.

Well did you find the trace i previously posted, useful ? i didn't.

In fact, i first made a self test in the mapping tool, and it was ok, so i tested it in configuration tools..and it failed with a 112 lines trace, i don't find the trace very useful, except it says that there is a java exception....

I think your source data is not coming as expected and its causing failure in the java mapping program you created. Check the data and check your program once espcially the fields its complaining(Equipment_MT/MaterialNumber)
