Hi everybody,
I'm using a Java Mapping to transform an IDOC to a another XML file. In development installation, the Mapping works. In productive installation, German special characters (äöü) are not translated correctly.
Does anybody know, how I can check the installed codepages on the two installations?
Or has anybody an idea for another reason?
Regards,
Torsten
Hi Torsten,
change the logon language of the used RFC destination to german.

Udo

Hi everybody,
thank for your suggestions. I will try to explain some more details:
- The IDOC is correct in both environments.
- I exported a (correct) IDOC from productive environment to file system.
- I tested the mapping in both environments using test functionality in IR, and it shows correct german letters in test environment and wrong lettes in productive environment.
Both environments consist of the same SP, JVM, etc.
Any idea?

Torsten

First thing to check: the RFC destination (SM59) from the productive R/3 to the pruductive XI has been creaded with the correct setting for UNICODE ?
Do you see the incoming payload correctly in the SXMB_MONI in XI ?

Sandro
