CIF Post Processing

Hi

Need help with understanding Post Processing functionality. Have enabled it through /n/sapapo/c2 and see the queues through /n/sapapo/cpp2.

Wanted to know more about error handling in CIF post processing queue, obsolete functionality etc. Any documents/ information related to the same would be very helpful.

SAP help portal only provides small note..

Thanks

Abhishek

Hi Abhishek,

There are a lot of options where you can see information regargding processing CIFs. Also do you want to see information regarding successful queues also?

First you need to check the settings as to which queues you need to log. Transaction is SAPAPO/C4.

Also you should maintain a very high block size if you want to log all information, warnings and errors.

Other useful transactions beyond SMQ1 & SMQ2 in APO are:

SAPAPO/CCR is for reconciliation.

SAPAPO/CQ is the best to see details of queues.

SM20 to monitor any deleted/modified queues (user the RFC user here).

SM21 is the transaction to view systems log if your queues have created any.

But most important suggestion is setup your Integration Models and subsequent batch jobs in a planned manner and in proper sequence. This will eliminate a lot of your problems in a later stage.

Hope this helps.

Thanks & Regards

Hi Abhishek ,

You can try in R3 Transaction CFG1 - where you can Display and Analyze CIF Application Log

This application log allows an application or object oriented recording of events.

Each event is classified by object and any sub-objects which belong to it.

The analysis of the logs is similarly object oriented.

Also this gives long texts possible ways or removing warning and errors.

I found this very helpful.....
