Product Development on SAP XI

Hi Netweaver experts,

I m using SAP XI 3.0 - SP 9( Trial Ver), I m planning to develop an tool in the above said version. Is it possible to deploy in the production system using this trial verion of SAP XI?. What is the latest version of SAP XI?

Sunil,

Develop a good tool and propose it to SAP.if they feel it is worth enough they will buy it.But you will have to do a good study to understand the inabilities of current monitoring stuff and then do the product developmnet.It should be more enhanced than the CCMS and GRMG.

Hi Sunil,

You can develop adapters for XI. There is a SAP Netweaver certification for JCA Adapters.

The latest version of XI is --> PI 7.0

Thnx for ur valuable info, I need to know is it only that we can develop and deploy Adapters to SAP XI or is there any possibilities of deploying any advanced tool for Monitoring or routing the messages. Does SAP gives certification for these kind of tools developed from other peoples.
