Supressing Large Images in SAP Gui

Hi,

I am in China working on remote systems in Europe over VPN connections.

Due to the recent earthquakes in Taiwan, the internet (and hence my VPN connections) are incredibly slow.

This is not a problem for most SAP R/3 transactions, but some (transaction RSPC in BW for example) present large images that take time to download, sometimes causing a connection timeout.

Does anyone know whether there is a GUI or backend system setting that allows the suppression of these large images?

Hi,

there is a configration setup in logon pad itself. goto item in the login pad and goto change the settings (or properties) goto advanced and selete lowconenctivity speed. this will supress the gif images to display.
