Hi SV,

I did a search and found (amongst other things) this:

An example:

You can also call transaction SU53 yourself, then go via the menu to "utilities" (I think) and select "Application help". Your browser will start and take you to SAPs documentation on SU53.

Hi,

Basically SU53 is used to chek for missing authorizations.

For example if you are prompted with you are not authorized.

once you execute SU53 you will be displyed for missing objects and what authorization are available.

I hope its clear

If you need more information let us know.

cheers

Hi,

SU53 T code is used for finding missing authorizations

For example you tpe command level SM50 but you don't have authorization to work on SM50.

If you type know SM53 it will give you which authorization object is missed.

You go and assign this authorization object in PFCG u will get the authorization to work.

i think it will help you.

Hi,

SU53 - Analyze Authorization check

Using this transaction you can analyze an error in your system that just occured because of a missing authorization.

We can call Transaction SU53 in all sessions, not just in the session in which the error occurred.
