Hi,

Could you please check the groups assigned to <sid>adm.

use smitt tool (I am not sure correct tool name for user administration on AIX)

I am not requesting file permissions...

Hi Vijaya,

your output

-rwsrwxr-x 1 orapmc sapsys 4492878 24 Sep 13:50 brarchive

-rwsrwxr-x 1 orapmc sapsys 4619449 24 Sep 13:50 brbackup

-rwsrwxr-x 1 orapmc sapsys 6072267 24 Sep 13:50 brconnect

-rwsrwxr-x 1 orapmc sapsys 2519305 24 Sep 13:50 brtools

-rwxr-xr-x 1 pmcadm sapsys 5070496 24 Sep 13:50 brrecover

-rwxr-xr-x 1 pmcadm sapsys 1929312 22 Sep 21:33 brrestore

-rwxr-xr-x 1 pmcadm sapsys 6176738 24 Sep 13:50 brspace

that mean all this file are created by orapmc user but sapsys is group for this file

change the groups form sapsys to dba

cheers

There are four points to be considered in the SAP note that i have suugested above, ahve you looked at all four, if so and you are still getting the error , than see if you have some other logs to provide

ie alert log, user trace log etc for us to analyse further

thanks

Vijay,

Permissions are ok .. Please try to download and run sapdba_role.sql . Note 134592 might be helpful.

Thanks
