Significance of Field TVAK-VBKLT

What is the significance of the field TVAK-VBKLT. (Sales document indicator (for display in TVAK only).

Hello Abhishek,

Field TVAK-VBKLT is used many times (mainly) in SD programs to find out the "type" of document, e. g. "Invoice correction request".

For example the standard SD-SALES print program RVADOR01 uses it to fill the print forms correctly.

You can find the programs which use this field by displaying the "Where-used list" in transaction SE11 for this TVAK field.

If you create your own sales document types, I recommend that you copy the existing standard document types. This ensures, that the field is filled correctly in table TVAK.
