how to change search result window on Web GUI ( SAP GUI for HTML)

Hi,

We are running sap transactions through portal using web gui.

Whenever customer search result is displayed through Web GUI, there is always horizontal and vertical scroll bar available. Most frustrating matter for users is that, only after sliding horizontal scroll bar to left they can see another vertical scroll bar to actually go through long list of customers.

Is there any option in web gui though which search result window size can be made changeable? any work around ?

Expert help will be greatly appreciated!

sounds like an error which has been solved already...

Please tell us more about the system you are using, the ABAP Support Package level

is of interest. In the case you are using the integrated ITS, knowing the WebaAS patch level, in the other case knowing the patch level of the ITS, will be helpful.

I think this issue has been solved already.

HI Tobias,

I am still working on the issue. I have opened up OSS message. Lets see what solution SAP comes back with. We are using integrated ITS. It is on WAS 640 Patch level 16 ( BASIS and ABAP ).

I put out solution once the issue is resolved.

Hi Parimal,

SP 16 is really not very 'up to date' The sizing issues has been solved later.

Using a recent kernel (binary) patch of the WebAS is strongly recommended too.
