Hi,
We created a Software Component (CS) with 3 dependencies :
a) DI BUILD TOOL
b) SAP J2EE ENGINE
c) SAP JAVA TECHNOLOGY SERVICES
While creating a track using this CS, we get 4 dependencies : the 3 ones that we defined in our CS and a fourth one which name is : SAP PRT.
Is SAP PRT obligatory ? From where it comes ?
Do we have to add a jar for it ?
Thanks for the help.
Regards.
Hi David
An application is a set of files java classes, HTML, JSP and others that define a set of components and services. The files are bundled and zipped into a single file with the extension .par. Such a file is known as a PAR file. Portal administrators upload PAR files in order to make the enclosed components and services available.
Now you have not installed portal and trying to create a track of portal files. That is the reason why it is looking for SAP PRT .
I think you should hav a portal also installed at the top of ur java engine
