Error in changing fiscal year

Hi

I am getting the error 'Version 0 is not defined for fiscal year 2007' when tried to create a Sales Order in IDES system and I am trying the solution to add the fiscal year 2007 in T.code OKEV but it fails.

The steps what I have done :

1. Go to OKEV

2. Selecting control area 1000

3. Selecting the version 0 line

4. then trying to open the Settings for Each fiscal year from Dialog Structure

The error i get is :

E: Activation of the indicator is not permitted

and the highlighted line in red is for Version 1

The default indicator is set for version 1 is Plan, WIP/RA, Variance & Legal Valuation (Valuation view)

I tried in many ways to 'uncheck' the boxes for this version 1 but fails.

Pls help.

Please see and try if transaction OKEQ helps > Settings for fiscal year and make a copy?

Thanks. It helped me and the problem resolved but I am wondering why OKEV transaction did allow.

Hi,

After going to OKEQ, Select the Version line & open the Settings for Each Fiscal year from left hand panel. Then, add or copy the fiscal year you required.

Hi,

Go to SPRO trnsaction & select SAP reference IMG.Go to the following path

SAP customizing Implementation Guid>Public sector management->Funds Management Government >Budget Control System>Budget Types

and run EDIT VERSIONS.

Select version 0 and double click setting for each Fiscal Year ( appear at left side).

Click on NEW ENTRIES and provide 2007 for Fiscal year Period and select on Integrated planning , copying allowed check boxex.

Provide M for Exchange Rate Type and value date and other details.
