Hallo,
I have a problem with sap logon,it gets me the above error when i try log on,
i check the registry at Database path and the link is ok i think,what else could it be,i reistall tha sap gui but it doesnt work again...any solution???

I think u did not enter the sapdpxx in services file.Goto below path
<b>C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\services</b>
set <b>sapdpxx 32xx/tcp</b> in services file(here xx denotes u r instance number).

Kiran is correct. If this was an existing installation that previously worked, then probably you installed something else that overwrote your services file, replacing it instead of updating it. SAPLogon depends upon these entries in services to correctly identify the TCP ports for connecting to SAP servers.

check sapdp00 service in service file.
check wether your central instance number is '00' or something else
also check the SAP is up or not
