DropDown in ALV only via Search-help???

Hi gurus,

I tried to fill a dropdown box in ALV via the node-info.

This doesn't work unfortunately.

I looked at some examples with SFLIGHT, here is a drop-down available but this displays values because there is a value-help availabel.

Does this mean that i need a value-help to fill my dropdown list?

Hi Jos,

To fill a dropdown in ALV,

• First create the context node in the component controller.

• Goto interfacecontroller_usage of alv component usage.

Drag the needed context node to the FUNCTION_ELEMENTS of the interface controller. The node will be mapped.

• Now try using the mapped context node in the ALV dropdown.
