SXI_CACHE Error: Unable to refresh cache contents

Hello everybody,

in SXI_CACHE we get the error:

"Unable to refresh cache contents"

"Error during last attempt to refresh cache"

and on double clicking we get the message:

Error Id: Communication

if_http_client receive http_communication_failure.

Any suggestions.

We can't afford to restart the machines every time.

Please refer to the Trouble SHooting section of this guide,

Also, check the HTTP Connection INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI and try a test connection of this. It should return HTTP Code : 500

We solved it on our own:

We deleted a SWCVersion without deleting the objects in the SWCV.

Hi,

Go to Tcode : SXI_CACHE

Menu Runtime -> Start Complete Cache refresh and Start Delta Cache Refresh.

go to SM59 Check the Http connection.

INTEGRATION_CIRECTORY_HMI.

test the above connection is working file or not..if not then recreate this RFC Connection.
