Hello everyvody,
When the code of a cost center is numeric (e.g. 179000), the system stores the cost center number with leading zeros (e.g. 0000179000) but when the cost center number is displayed, it is displayed without the leading zeros.
An option to have the leading zeros displayed is to implement OSS Note 10714: change the conversion routine of the domain KOSTL.
Problem: there is a lot of different domains used for cost center and moreover this solution is not recommended by SAP itself !
QUESTION: do somebody have an alternative solution to the one I described above ?
Thanks a lot for your help,
Michel
Hi Michel!
- You can't change the conversion exit itself (because it's used in many other places, too)
- You might change all outputs (in formulas) - but that's a lot to do and not better than OSS 10714
- Replace the first zero with O (like Osaka, not Zero) in the beginning of the cost center number - looks the same, but now no conversion will be triggered.
Regards,
Christian
