Error encountered during 2004s Installation

Hi All,

Can anyone help me in resolving the error encountered during the Insatallation of 2004s. The Error is as below...

1. MOS-01185 The subkey 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\USBSTOR' does not exist on the 'localhost' host.

2. FCO-00011 The step collect with step key |NW_Java_OneHost|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_Onehost_System|ind|ind|ind|ind|1|0|NW_GetSidNoProfiles|ind|ind|ind|ind|1|0|collect was executed with status ERROR .

I have installed WinRar in my system, do you want me to proceed with the installation.

You proceed with the installation now.Lets see if it goes fine.

Hi Gopi

Go to run and type Regedit

Go to the folder UsbStor

right click on this folder and go to permissions and give full control to the user used for the installation.

This mainly happens coz ur network policies have over written the permissions for usbstor folder

Continue the installation

Which OS you are using?Kindly provide full detail.

Hi Gopi

There is a problem in your OS.To check type Regedit in the run .Browse for the path 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\USBSTOR.

See if you can locate USBSTORE .USBSTORE gets installed with the OS.This is the registry where any new programs which you are installing will sit.

Revert back if you have any queries.Please give points if my answer helped you.
