Hello Jignesh,

Happy New Year!

SAP GUI for Java 7.00 supports Mac OS X 10.4.

Please have a look at note 954572 (http://www.service.sap.com/%7Eform/handler?_APP=01100107900000000342&_EVENT=REDIR&_NNUM=954572&_NLANG=E) and the SAP GUI for Java homepage on service market place at http://service.sap.com/sapgui-java

In case you have no user and can not register, you also can get it from ftp://ftp.sap.com/pub/sapgui/java

Please let me know if you need further information or help.

Best regards

Dear Rolf-Martin,

I'm a newbie in the macworld.

I use SAP GUI for Java 7.00 rev 2 with Java VM: Apple Computer, Inc. Version 1.5.0_06-68 on Mac OS X 10.4.8.

I have the following problem with the GUI:

1. SAP can't display the menu

2. When I started SE38 transaction the result is a runtime error, with the following message:

Short text of error message:

Termination Due to Control Error

Long text of error message:

Technical information about the message:

Message classe...... "ED"

Number.............. 200

3. When I started SE80 transaction the result is the same.

4. etc...

Please help me, how I can correct these errors.

Best regards

Mark

Hello Mark,

following the <a href="https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/HOME/RulesofEngagement">rules of engagement</a> when a new and unrelated question comes up during a thread, please start a new thread.

So, could you please post your issue in a new thread and add following information:

- what is your logon language?

- is your backend running Unicode and if not which codepage?

With the additional information we should be able to find the reason for your problems.

Thanks

Rolf-Martin
