Hello,
When I try to start SAP I get a SQL error saying "DB-Connect failed, return code 000256". Does anyone know what could cause this error. The system has a fresh install of 4.7. The database has been restored from our PRD system which was upgraded from 4.6B to 4.7. I had to change the environment variable, MSSQL_SCHEMA from sbx to "dbo" in order to install the license key (Note 534765). Thanks in advance.
i am not sure
however this message seems no to be of SQL server
but from client ODBC
because there is no any messages about connection on SQL-server behalf,
but error messages in SAP application
so the SAP system can not find databasa
that is what i think
after fixing it i have working system
