Hi. How different is a XI Developer, XI Consultant, XI Architect and XI Manager from one another ? Their work profiles and the other stuff...Please send me some information about these. Thank you. my email id is gowtham_vallabhaneni@gmail.com...Gowtham
Hi Gowtham:
XI Architect:
- Focus on experience on previous projects
- Convert business/functional requirements in technical specifications
- Prepare the solution Roadmap
- Design the integration process
- Pass technical specification to XI developers
XI Developer:
- starts from technical specification
- create design and configuration objects- execute unit tests
- support integration/stress tests
- document the developments
XI Administrator:
- Install and configure XI server
- Create SLD objects.
- Schedule and check maintenance jobs (archiving, deletion, tuning)
- Assign user roles/auth.
- Create CMS Transport Track
XI Consultant:
depending on the role it could be a developer, an architect or an administrator but generally it is an architect with developments skills as well, and overall a great experience.
Hope it helps,
Kind Regards,
Sergio

adding to what sergio said, as XI consultant u may need to do any work as specified by sergio in architect, developer, manager roles. some times u may have to add all by urself. Some times you are restricted to do only the work you are assigned to. It depends on the project you are working on, but as basic guide line you can follow the tasks described by sergio.
