Now it is necessery to Upgrade Solution Manager 4.0, to new Hardware with Windows x64, AMD, Oracle.
It was very helpfull for me, if somebody could explain me the steps to do that.
Thank you very much

Dear Selim,
I am sorry, please find similar doc for the Oracle
http://www.basisconsultant.com/docs/handbooks/homcopyv1.pdf

Cherry
first of all it is obsolete (because based on 8.1.7) and did not cover the central needs of the request ( Oracle9 to Oracle10 during a 32Bit/64 Bit migration)
second it is based on Unix, will not help Windows users very much.
third it is not supported, the only supported resources are documented via http://service.sap.com/instguides look for your version, homogenious system copy guide.
fourth: there are some mistakes in it: you need a new saplicense, at least on windows.
fith: it does not document at all what additional manual steps are necessary if the system is a newer system with a lot of functional links into other systems.
Peter
well,
everything is documented in the homogenious system copy guide and. Additionally you need the note mentioned here, this one will route you to note

Hi,
The best option is R/3 Export /Import
Install SAP Solution manager on target system and import.

hi,
I think you have two options
1) upgrade on the W2000 server and then perform a system copy to the new hardware
2) perform first the system copy and then upgrade on the new server
Guides for the upgrade and system copy can be found on the address mentioned before
