Help : CheckDB and UpdateStats fails

Hi All,

We are using SAP EE 4.7 with HP UX and Oracle 9i.

Since Last 3 days, CheckDB and UpdateStats fails with

<i><b>"0003 Error during initialization"</b></i>

I am also giving the details log:

Detail log: cdufyghx.chk

BR0252E Function fopen() failed for '/oracle/<SID>/sapcheck/xxxxxxx.chk' at location file_printout-4

BR0253E errno 2: No such file or directory

External program terminated with exit code 5

Can anyone tell me why this error is coming and how to overcome this problem.

Check whether sapcheck directory exist if it is chek the permissions
