Dear All

While going through the following path

RWB>Component Monitoring>Adapter Engine-->Comm Channel Monitoring

In the Comm Channel Monitoring i am not able to see the Comm Channels.........I hv done Complete Cache Refersh and all the caches are working fine.

Also while going through the following path

RWB-->Component Monitoring->Adapter Engine->Adapter Monitoring

I am able to see the list of all adapters but all the adapters have Gery light status instead of having a red or green light status

How can i turn the status of adapter green form grey

Kindly Reply ASAP

Thanks in anticipation

Hi,

Is this a new XI installation? Run a few senarios using each of the adapters and then the status of the adapters will trun from grey to red/ green!

Noramally, a GREY indiatcates, that so far the adapter has not been used!

Hi Somnath,

follow Note 817920 - XI Readiness Check, to check that everything is ok.

Also this document can be useful.

Hope this help

Hi,

1. Chceck the cache is up to date in SXI_CACHE

2. check the tcode: SICF services activated

3. create one comunnication channel using file adapter and activate..now go to Adapter monitoring check file adpter status has changed or not..

Venu.

HI Somnath,

Are ur comm channels' status "Inactive" in id? If so then you need to change those to Active status.

Thanks,

Himadri
