GATP Allocations enhancements

Our organization is implementing GATP with product allocations in SCM 4.0. We are interested in learning about any enhancements which other organizations have made for product allocations.

We are analyzing the best approach for an enhancement to the function group which copies CVCs from Planning Area to Product Allocation Groups. The standard transaction is /SAPAPO/ATPQ_PAREA_K. We have one planning area and three product allocation groups. Our enhancement should selectively copy each CVC depending on the Product Allocation Object. It appears that we must use a copy of the function group /SAPAPO/ATPQ_INDEX. If you have already implemented a similar solution please let us know the details.

Dear sir,

GATP is the total available capacity to supply on the Demand at any time.In APO SNP there are 3 models used to meet the demand from any time.

It will try to supply the demand at any instance of time, even though there is no any material stock ready atythe source location.

Vut here APO generally used for the CRITICAL requirement planning of the Botttle neck items or matarial but not all the matrial.
