we have installed NW2004s SR1 ABAP+Java
after changing UME datasource client from 001 to our production client, we cannot access the UME administration.
when trying to open the link server:port/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcsecumewdumeadmin/UmeAdminApp
and entering the user and password, we get a blank page
anybody have any ideas?
Hi Galina Vaks,
Please send your "defaultTrace.trc" logs.
Thanks,

Galina,
I ran into a similar problem with the Java engine not connecting when you do a client copy on XI and BI Netweaver systems. When I tried to configure the RSA1 connections for BI it stated that the default client was not set to 100 (because it was pointing to 001, the default install client). OSS NOTE 937323 discusses changing the production client in table RSADMIN. If you run into the same issue after you re-install, see if that note helps.

we checked everything, it looks alright besides the deploy thingie. under webdynpro a lot of things are red but i think whats relevant is
sap.com/tcsecumewdapproval
sap.com/tcsecumewdenduserl
sap.com/tcsecumewdwaplugin
ive "start"ed them all, and restarted the server but theyre red
the last default.trc exception looks like this:
