Hi,
When executeing a script written in perland launching job from root crontab, I get error message echodo(9): perl: not found
Starting /home/ibmtools/scripts/Oracle/SapDbUtil.sh -t dbverify -a all at Sun Dec 24 01:00:00 MET 2006 ...
Environment

no exlusions
Command executing: perl /home/ibmtools/scripts/Oracle/oradbadbv.pl
echodo[9]: perl: not found
I checked my environment variables en I think they are OK:
s0017500:orarp1[/var/tmp]> which perl
/usr/contrib/bin/perl
s0017500:orarp1[/var/tmp]> echo $PATH

My Unix scripting is a bit "rusty"
But
- You are launching the script from "<b>root</b>"
- You are checking that <b>orarp1</b> has "perl" in his path
Perhaps it is the way you schedule the command on the "root" cron.
