Regarding FQDN

Hi all,

I have changed the FQDN of my 2004s(sneak preview) from localhost to the server name, in order to access/execute the applications from different systems. But I am getting dump when executing the applications now (earlier the same application was executed on the server machine). Following is the error:

What has happened?

The URL http://yh191:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zsuresh_test was not called due to an error.

Note

The following error text was processed in the system NSP : Die URL enthält keine vollständige Domainangabe (yh191 statt yh191.).

The error occurred on the application server YH191_NSP_00 and in the work process 0 .

The termination type was: RABAX_STATE

Hi Raja,

The domain "yh191:8000" is not a FQDN. The root domain (.com, .org, .net, etc) is missing.

Hello,

Maintain Host Entries with FQDN in both client and server.

Ask your BASIS person to maintian in server part.

Also, make sure that you had maintained the INSTANCE PROFILFE Parameter - icm/host_name_full with your FQDN.
