Hi,
Please maintain your host entries(with F.Q.D.N.) in the host file present in
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

Hi Usha,
I've been through the same problem earlier, i think the URL what ur getting for ur webdynpro application is something like this,
http://localhost:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zz_te_sflight
Where u need to replace the localhost with the FQDN of ur Application server, For example, let the FQDN of ur server be appln.server.com the the URL should come like this,
http://appln.server.com:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zz_te_sflight
For that u need to set a parameter called icm/host_name_full parameter in transaction RZ10. Go through the below link to find the procedure to set the parameter,
/people/durairaj.athavanraja/blog/2005/08/21/running-your-first-bsp-application-in-sap-netweaver-04-abap-edition--nsp
Hope this solves this problem,

Hi Usha,
Have u made the basic FQDN settings that is required to run BSP's on the client Browser??
Please have a look at at the following weblogs for the FQDN settings,
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/bsp/fullyQualifiedDomainName%28FQDN%29&
/people/brian.mckellar/blog/2003/09/25/bsp-in-depth-fully-qualified-domain-names
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/67/be9442572e1231e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
Then make changes in the hosts file, C:WINDOWSsystem32driversetchosts
ex: 192.168.0.2 appln.server.com
Here the appln.server.com is the Fully Qualified Domain Name of the server and its ip adress seperated by tab.
Also check whether all the nodes under the transaction SICF are active..

Sachi

hi,
goto RUN, write DRIVERS,
goto ETC->HOSTS.
Here you can give the ip address of your server and its hostname.
the host name and ip address are separated by tab
i think this will solve the problem.

Hi Pratyu,
There is an oss note describing the system settings that are required to be made for WDA (and BSP). I think, it's mentioned in the FAQ section of the WDA (and BSP) wiki here on SDN.
Best regards,
Thomas
