Reg JNI and Windows Mobile 2003 (barcode scanning-MAM2.5)

Hi all

I am trying to use JNI to activate the scanner from the MAM2.5 application. Do we need to create wrapers for the corresponding c# methods that invokes the scanner, to use it with JNI in Windows mobile 2003, or is there any other way to invoke the barcode scanner from MAM application?? Please give your thoughts on this.

Note: The device is Motrola HC700 which does not have driver provided by SAP.

Hi Venkat,

If barcode scanning is your sole requirement then simple APIs would work. I have written two separate application for barcode scanning from a scanner, one for PDA and another for Blackberry, both over bluetooth.

However JNI will make you work simpler, you will have to delveop wrapper classes.

Your mobile has WinOS, why not go for those API set.
