End to end monitoring..

Does end to end monitoring only applies to BPM processes scenarios?

I have an integration scenario which doesnt involve BPM. Its normal file to IDOC scenario with no BPM? Can we monitor that using end to end monitoring?

End to End monitoring is similar like SXMB_MONI.. End -to -End monitoring can be used for monitoring the messages with or without BPM..

of course you can

end-to-end monitoring means monitoring from one end (one adapter-business system) to another so BPM usage does not make a lot of difference
