Netweaver Modules

I know that BW can be added in XI landscape.. Like that Can I have all the netweaver modules in XI landscape.. or do we neeed to use R3 for any of the netweaver modules..

As far as my undestanding, you can add BW, CRM, SRM etc etc into your XI landscape. When you download the file from service market place or dmtf.org into SLD, it gives the latest all SAP applications which we can use in XI.

Technically yes its possible to create proxy for BW, but i havent done it myself.

And also can we use Java proxy to interface with BW??
