After successfully implementing a Java Mapping I realized that I had made a typo with one of the tags for the output stream in the java map class. I've tried to re-import the archive but when I run the interface it is mapping with the old program.
I re-imported the jar and re-created the 'Interface Mapping' then went into the configuration and re-did the mapping piece there too.
I clicked on 'Open through Client Browser' under 'Imported Archives' and I do see my updated version in there. There is only one mapping program in the archive, in fact its the only mapping program I have anywhere.
I then went into XI gui and ran tx SXI_CACHE then hit F6 to clear all the cache and the interface continued to use the old mapping program.
Can someone please let me know how to have XI use my updated version of my Java Mapping? There must be an easier way to do this ...
Hi Larry,
Normally you only need to upload the archive with the new .class file and that was all.
It is Important that the .class file had the same name like before.
Don't forget to compile the .java mapping file to a .class file after every change in the mapping.
Than Aktivate and finsh.

Robin
