Receive Email in SAP system

Dear all,

Can anyone please help me in configuring how to receive emails in SAP office inbox.

I have setup SCOT according to note 455140. I can send email to any internet address but unable to receive.

Thanks for the reply.

The domain name is already in Settings-->Default Domain. And the parameter is already activated with SMTP port in instance profile. (icm/server_port_1). Should it be in default profile?

According to sapnote 607108, (for receiving) i am able to receive mails but if somebody send from outside, no mails are received. Is there any settings on Exchange server.

Dear Imran,

You have to setup a domain name for your SAP system in transaction SCOT, settings->Default domain. This domain name has to be registered in some mail domain.

Include the SMTP port in your default profile.

Now you must be able to receive e-mail in your SAP system.
