hi all,
what is value mapping and when we are going to use it
regards,
krish
Hi Here is more information on Value Mapping,
To explain in Simple, Based on my source value , if I want to fill the target values we will be using value mapping.
For example, I have the following values
Source----
Target
IN -
INDIA
US----
USA
if my source field has value 'IN' then my target value will be transformed to 'INDIA'.
This has to be done in the Mapping.
There are diffrent ways U can define value mapping,
1. Integration Repository using Fixvalues Fuction,
2. Integration Directory
3. External Replication
This link will provide u more information. Kindly reward points.

Value mapping is used when both sender and receiver treat the same object differently,it is achieved by making a value mapping table.
