HI,
I've created a new SAP system with hom.System copy. And matched this as a parallel quality system in the transport landscape. Now if we try to import a transport we get the message, that the access is denied for the cofile. The OS - users for the this SID (SIDnn and SIDOFR) are created on both systems with the same passwords, and I can acces the files when using the operting system. What's wrong ?
Best regards thomas
Hi Volker,
- the link is working. We use only one link for all SAP systems.
- on OS level the new SID - users didn't have the right to change the files.(CPFA90C)
If I set *PUBLIC to *RWX and *ALL or give the SIDOFR *ALLOBJ then it works.
Is this normal ?
Thomas

Hi Thomas,
this is normal, because the file system QFileSvr.400 doesn't support that change ...

Hi Thomas,
did you really test this with BOTH userprofiles on OS level from the new machine to the trans-machine ?
I cannot believe that ...
or you should check if the trans link is working at all ...
- does it point correct ?
- do you have the entry in QFileSvr.400 ?
- ...
