When I test it, SAP ask me in a pop-up window an user/password.
Im sure that SAP shouldnt ask me another user/password like I fill it (XIISUSER) in the definition of the RFC destination.
Coul someone help me ?
Thanks in advance
The problem is resolved.

After you selected "Basic Authentication", you get a dialog that warns you that changing the authentication method might delete the givenlogon data. Confirm with "Yes". If you get a Warning in the status line saying "SSL client PSE DFAULT does not exist.", press <ENTER> to be able to edit the logon data fields.

I had this problem initially however I later found out that it was caused because I had hit Enter prior to hitting Save on my RFC connection definition in SM59 although it can also be caused by clicking on the other tabs without hitting Save immediately as well. Once you put in the user ID and password for the RFC connection, hit Save (do not hit Enter or click on any other tabs). If you look at the Configuration guide it warns that Save must be hit immediately before doing anything else with that particular RFC connection.

Hi,

test installation. Even when i try the trick from Lui it
doesn't work in my case. The popup screen still appeare.
I futhermore have problem with the abap cache refresh in
full mode where i describe in another topic. I would also
interested how to get rid of this problem.
For Martial:
did you install a new XI-System with NW04-SR1 on windows
e.g. windows 2000 Server? Did you have also the cache problem on the abap side?

Hi Martial,
If you are sure that you are using the correct uid/pwd, and you are still getting the logon screen, you need to change the uid/pwd to another account, do a test, and then change it back to the one you want to use. In this way, the logon screen will disappear. I am not sure why it behaves like this, but it will work.

Hart

Hello Martial,
Check your Security Option in your sm59 Destination:
Trusted System must be NO
And the Checkbox "Logon Screen" not marked.
