Hi ALL ,

Recently we moved to Unicode .

Here is the issue .

When printing the Japanese Invoice, what ever hard-coded in Japanese language ,

in the script editor – ( se71 ) , is coming as garbled in the print out ,

where as the fields selected from data base tables containing Japanese characters , such as Customer name , is coming properly in the print out .

Thanks for any reply.

Thanks a lot for your reply!!

I have a strong feeling that could be the reason.

We are in Kernal Patch Level - 139 ( ECC5- 640 system ).

Could you please tell me, Which system you were in and wat patch level you applied ?

Thanks a lot.

hi john,

We were on SAP R/3 Enterprise i.e. 4.7. I don't remember what patch we had applied that time.

Is there any way to see that in any transaction?

Vivek

Hi,

You can maintain these hardcoaded text in print program as text symbols. Then assign these text symblos to variable and pass these variables to sap script.
