Classification is not working after SR2 up grade to SR3

Hello,

After we installed the new MAM 3.0 SR3, we cannot see the classification at the technical objects. In SR3 the classification has its own sync bo MAM30_018. We are on 4.70 R3 at SP26. Anyone has experienced this or have any idea how to fix this issue will be much appreciated.

I guess the notes we mentioned in the message will solve the issue once the front end issue is resolved.

Hi Laid,

According to the documentation for R/3 4.7 minimum is SP27.

Could you please be more specific as well where you don't see characteristics? In the technical objects or in the classes?

For your information SR3 has three major changes:

1. Multi-language support (new tables in most SyncBos, changes in BAPIs)

2. Master Data (TOs) changes are supported now from the device with change charact. beong one of them

3. Some of Time 2-Way SyncBos are only released now as Server driven SyncBos

That means that upgrade from SR2 to SR3 requires update on all three components: backend, middleware and front-end (with complete reinstallation of the device).

Hello Larissa,

Thanks for your quick response, the characteristics are not being downloaded from R3 to the middleware, though they are not shown on the client at the technical object level.

In order to ovoid the SP27, we had to install all OSS notes related to SR3 which cover the SP27 requirements.

We did the reinstall too.
