I wanted to check :

1) Queues are working or no ..

2) Ability to create objects

How can I check them? whether they are working or no,

I am new to XI.

goto transaction SXMB_ADM, and then select manage queues, once in that report, you can do que monitoring, activate, register queues.

Hi,

1) transactions: smq1,smq2,smqr

2) transactions: sxi_monitoring, sxi_cache

and runtime workbench

Hi,

1) if there is something inside it for longer time period then there can be a problem

2) choose on selection only messages with errors

only in sxi_monitoring and in runtime morkbench\message monitoring you can do it

here you can check if something stuck inside inbound (SMQ2) and outbound queue(SMQ1). If there is any error you can either restart or cancal LUW(logical unit of work).

smq1 & smq2 gives you the status of your SAP inbound & outbound queues

So if there is some probleme in outbound and inbound queues then how will i know in smq1 and smq2.

ideally you should not get any entries in these places, but if for some reason some error has occured you will see the entries in the respective queues giving you the error information

sometimes you can have something for short time when message is processed
