i had a doubt that is it possible to add a value to
the existing script which was not recorded.i.e i want
to add a new feild to the old script which was not
recorded in the old script

Hi Neel..
Yes, you can add new values to the old scripts also, provided you are allowed to create/change the existing scripts..
Procedure depends on the driver(TCD/SAPGUI) you have used in eCATT..
IF its TCD, its very easy to do that.. There are 2 ways..
1. Go to the DYNPRO where other values in that screen are recorded and add a new line.
Give values as following:
Mode = S,
Name = (Press F1 on the transaction field and go to the technical help and copy the Screen field value)
VALIN - The Parameter you have created.
2. In the same script use a TCD to record the transaction again, and copy the DYNPRO & Fields the same way they are appearing in the new TCD interface and copy them to the old one or use the new interface.
If you are using SAPGUI,
There is only one way you can do it.. You have to use SAPGUI ATTACH and record the field from the transaction and place the SAPGUI interface in the appropriate place where it is needed in the script.

w had allready tried on the sap guiattach,
when we are running thescript its picking the new value feild in the document but it is not getting saved! what could be the mistake?
