edit of model class not possible

Former Member

In the NWDS (2004 SP18) I created a model based on a webservice (using NWDI). Model classes are generated without problem. My problem is that I am not able to edit these model classes. According to the SAP documentation I have to select the model class and then select "edit" from the context menu . When I do this then an activity is created and the relevant files are checked out, but I'm still not able to change the model class. All buttons (for example to create a method) are still grayed out.

Does anyone else experienced these problems or knows how to solve this?

Thanks,

Ryan Douglas

Hi,

Could you [please send the link to documentation.

I don't think it is possible to change the model in the IDE.

Hi Ryan,

You can edit the model classes if you have imported a JavaBean model or configuration model, not for all imported model.
