Hello,

check the developer trace, workprocess trace files, there you can find what is the exact error.

/usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS<sys no>/work

check your archive log directory, generally when archive log directory is full you will face problems like this.

Best Regards,

Sachin.

Hello Steve,

I sent you the notes.

To access the SAPWORKDIR or the directory /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGSxx/work try to use the transaction AL11 there you can access the directorys.

Hi Steve,

Double check the SID and system number . Try giving the IP address of the server in application server textbox in GUI.

thanks

Hello Steve,

I'm not so common with networking things but i think this has something to do with your network. Perhaps if you use another netrange then you are routed over a router and this piece of hardware is faulty? I think you should look for general networking problems. I don't think this is SAP specific.

More I can't say, sorry.

Hi Steve,

Are you working through saprouter ? If so, you might need to check saprouttab to make sure your network is included. Also it makes sense to check if there are any isecurity rules on your firewall/router prevents you from logging from a particular netrange

thank you for your kind suggestions. The related person is checking the LAN traffic.

Method NiPRead (*.../sapdp*),what does 'method' stand for? then "NiPRead"?

then "(*.../sapdp*)"?

thank you very much!
