Hi all,
I've configured in SM59 a tcp/ip connection that has the same program id than the sender rfc communication channel. Everyting looks fine as the following configuration:
Program ID: O003 (the same in the adapter)
Host gateway: ECC host
Gateway service: sapgw00
but when I test this rfc destination I get the following error:
program O003 not registered
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance,
Leandro
Hi Leandro,
verify that you have marked the RFC connection as registered program.
The error message means that the adapter is not registering itself on sapgateway.
You can check it using transaction SMGW->goto->logged on clients and verify if you see an entry for O0003.
In case you will not see verify that your adapter is pointing to the right gateway (sender system hostname, sapgw<sys number>) and check the adapter status from runtime workbench.
If you still have troubles than verify that from XI you can ping the sender system.
Hope it helps,
Kind Regards,
Sergio

In the RFC destination, on the Technical Settings tab, do your settings look like this?
Activation Type: Start on Application Server
Program: O003
If the program is not a "registered server program" then you need to fully qualify the hostname of the system you are trying to connect to in the Program field.
In other words, try using the IP address of the server.
