Connect to SDM from NWDS

hello all

i'm in a custumer and i need to discover what port to fill in Windows -> Preferences ->SAP J2EE engine.

What role to discover that?

You should enter the message server port. You can retrieve this through the system information page of your server.

At the SAP J2EE Engine Start Page (http://<host>:<port>/index.html) there is a link to this system information. There you can find the message server port.

Probably it is 36 + instance number.

http port: 50000 + instance number * 100 + SDM port: 18

This is variable?
