SSO Error within webgui

We are using the integrated ITS in our NW04s BI system.

We starting the webgui we get the error:

SSO logon not possible; no logon ticket due to incorrect configuration

what is missing.

all parameters are fqhn and sso from the portal to the BI is working fine.

Any ideas?

PS:

login/accept_sso2_ticket=1

login/create_sso2_ticket=2

is this OK? or must both be =1?

changed both parameter to 1, same error...

I solved this issue! the error was, that the user was not a dialog user but a service user!

one last try (this error was happenning in sneak preview so just wanted to double check in your case as well)

run transaction STRUSTSSO2, do you have any problem (apart from authorization)?

No Problem there at all. I configured ssl in strustsso2. https is allready working.

With the same error of course...

maybe a problem with the sso cookies???

we get this error at all our BI systems and doing the steps for integrating the portal to the BI

is it happenning when calling from portal or independently in the browser?

whats the value set for

login/ticket_only_to_host

to check whether SSO2 is configured properly , from se80 go to BSP application system and run sso2test.htm page and follow the instructions in that page.

we get the error while testing the webgui service for example.

in se80 I goto Repository Broser - BSP Application

But then I cannot find the test page

choose BSP applciation in the dropdown (SE80)

and in the inputfield enter SYSTEM and hit enter

now you will see all the pages, mimes of this application. navigate to sso2test.htm page right click and test.

Ok, found the site. Result:

If a popup came, SSO2 is not configured correctly, and the SYSTEM logon application will not work

OK, but what is missing?

did you looked at the OSS note mentioned in sso2test.htm

this is my understanding correct me if i am wrong.

1.you are trying the access the webgui from portal

2. SSO for wingui works

3. when you call webgui from portal it results in the log on page with the error message SSO not possible - in correct sso settings

is that right

if thats the case, just setting those two profile parameters and host_name full should be enough.

can you post the url pattern you see on the screen when you hit the login screen

after chaing the profile parameter did you restart the server.

is icm/host_name_full is set up.

yes, I did the restart of the R3.

The parameter ist set with fqhn

in my case both are set to 1

login/accept_sso2_ticket=1

login/create_sso2_ticket=1

and i don thave this problem.

is this the first time you are running this.

even though you get the error it should allow you to log on using the via popup option.

make sure all relevant services are active in SICF and system and webgui services are published
