Any recommended APO literature?

Former Member

I've searched through many different online stores (including sap-press.com), but haven't really found any literature on the subject of APO.

Are there any titles that you guys would recommend?

And, where might I purchase these books?

I've read the FAQ, and I am aware that you're only allowed to link to help.sap.com.

But, if anyone can email me the answers to my questions, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Ryan,

For starters, you can opt to go to the SAP Academy Courses for APO. (e.g. SCM220, SCM230, SCM200 etc.)

You can easily google information about this courses and how to enroll. You can also try accessing the documents that can be found in service.sap.com/scm

Hope this helps.

Thank you.

I'll check out those sites, and begin looking for that ISBN.

I appreciate the help.

Hi Ryan,

Found two more interesting books on APO by Jorg.

Please see the links under Bibliography section of this <a href="https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=5799">APO Wiki</a>page.

Thanks,

Somnath

Hi Ryan,

The best (and only) book I have come across to learn APO is Supply Chain Management with APO by Jorg Thomas Dickersbach (ISBN 81-8128-025-3). Although the book is written quite some time back with APO 3.0 version as reference - still the functionalities and basic concepts remain the same.

I would also request you to take a look at

<a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/scm/main">scm-wiki</a> and <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/developerareas/bpx-scm">BPX-SCM</a>.

Thanks,

somnath
