Tiny font size

Hi,

I am using a 20 inch screen with a native resolution of 1600 x 1200. The font size of the articles and blogs appears really tiny and thus hard to read.

I would suggest to use the same font size as in the forums.

Or at least make the font size customizable for the user. If I use Ctrl+Mouse wheel I can change the font size of the left navigation pane but unfortunately it has no effect on the content pane of articles and blogs.

Cheers,

Marcus.

Hi,

The Ctrl-wheely works for me on the blogs, both in MIE7 as FF2. Alternatively, you can increase font size vie the View menu.

Strange ... now it works for me, too. Maybe I should check my Ctrl-key

Nevertheless, the standard font size could be bigger for me.

Thanks,

Marcus.

I agree with you.

The default text size in blogs is too tiny.

I always increase the text size in my blogs with a tag to make it more readable.

Careful. We seem to be speaking of two different topics here.

Marcus was talking about a user experience with fonts, if I'm not mistaken.

Stefan, you are talking about the html tags used while editing the blogs.

Please, don't suggest changing those from what we recommend.

I've put together a number of contents in the community wiki which refer to <a href="https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/Community/GettingStartedWith+Weblogs">Blogging recommendations</a> and also includes Mark Finnern's weblog tips and tricks. I wouldn't advise changing the way we edit fonts in blogs.

thanks,

Marilyn

custom fonts and tags are removed from the blog when it is published anyway.

Are you sure?

Look at this:

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/4256 [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]

Search for: <font size=2>

But in future I will leave the font size as default and hope that the font become bigger in standard. My eyes are not the best.

Stefan

That one slipped in before some of the "stripping" was done
