Hi ALL,
What is the difference between transport domain and target transport group.
Regards,
Nagarjun.
Hi Nagarjun Reddy,
Transport domian will controll other systems which includes in it , nothing but admin for other systems.. we can keep this domain controller in DEV, QAS and PRD systems. depending upon the situation.
Traget Transport group is concept which is used to move the request to all clients( a group of clients) ..

Transport Domain will include all the systems which you plan to administer using the Transport Domain controller.
Transport target groups are a group of System client combination where a released transport from source will appear in the import queue. Simply put if from Dev if you export the Request will appear in the import queues of all the systems which are in the transport target group.
Hope that helps Nagarjuna
Thanks
